New Buffalo History Books make great gifts

The beautiful hard-cover historical books make wonderful presents for area descendants, history buffs, and hostess gifts. The quality printing is a handsome addition to a personal library or laid as a browser in your living room. 100% of the book proceeds benefit the non-profit history Museum.

The 200-page, The New Buffalo Story 1934-1976, contains over 5,000 rare photos illustrating the contributions and efforts of the area people that built New Buffalo into the vibrant City that we know today. The stories relate to the years when settlers built the first log homes and the evolution of family businesses and industries- some of which still stand today.

Also available is the sequel, hard bound to match the first volume, The New Buffalo Story 1977-2012. The newest edition highlights the formation of new housing, the marina development, and the growth of area churches and philanthropic organizations. The story continues with the coming of the Four Winds Casino and how it relates to the Pokagon Fund. The beneficial community works of this institution are told describing the new construction of schools, parks, and outstanding programs they have supported.
